Please help! I know how to apply it to buttercream but... how do I apply it to fondant? Thanks!

I have done two edible images...both on fondant. I just used some clear decorating gel (Wilton) and brushed it onto the fondant. Then peeled the image off and laid it on the fondant. The gel acts as a glue. Then cut to finished size. HTH!
