Damn...I just made (& used) ganache by microwaving, then adding in cold cream.
It worked great and I was so happy for this shortcut...was planning to always do it. Of course, now I won't...ever!

I so have to try this but first my question,--So you only use one size of cake per tier but it is because of how you stack it you get the slants?
