My old hand held mixer (my ONLY mixer!) finally bit the dust today. Hubby went downtown to pick up a few things, and came home with a KitchAid for me!!! What a sweetheart.

Any tips or advice on using my beautiful new toy would be appreciated!

What a great guy! Unlike your hand mixer, this will remain on your counter all the time as it's so heavy. So, find a spot that is really convenient for you to work.

Your husband is so sweet. I would definitely bake him something too.

Then, you need to find it it's own little place on the counter and GIVE IT A NAME !!!!!

Mine is named Doris after my grandmother who started me baking.
