Hi everyone!
I'm planning on going to a cookout tonight and taking cupcakes. It's supposed to be 80 degrees. My question is - will it be too hot for buttercream frosting?? I just have visions of me walking in with cute cupcakes and all the frosting dripping off!!

I don't know if i have an answer but is that your picture ? you are a little glamour puss girl. Maybe if you did a high humidity buttercream it might be ok.
its supposed to help if you replace a bit of the butter with something like crisco, i think caus eit melts at a higher temp, so it gives it more stability.
