Any Good Hints For The Diamond Pattern On This Cake?

I have an order to make this cake and have never done a diamod pattern. The cake will look mostly like this but not topsyturvy.
Also can use hints for bows. I plan to use MFF for all. My bows seem to come out not so hot.

You can just dampen the back with a little water.... l lite coat.

I do that already with all the fondant. I have to be careful because too much and then it drips! icon_sad.gif
