My daughter's wedding is this summer and one of her colors is eggplant (purple). It seems as though every time I work with purple fondant the color fades and changes within a couple of days. Is there a way to stabilize this color so that I can do more work ahead of time?

Purple is notorious for fading when exposed to light. I'd suggest purchasing ChefMaster no-fade purple. I love it.
