I have painted them with pearl dust. If you want you can see some examples in my pics....the sea shells.

Candy melts can be painted with any of the lustre, pearl or sparkle dusts (drydusted) when they are dry. They don't take well to being painted with other melted chocolate melts (like doing a chocolate turkey and painting it with red and orange melted candy melts.) To color it, use CANDY coloring, not gel coloring. Anything other than candy color makes it seize and unfit for use.

You can dry dust with luster or pearl dust. You can paint with highlighter dust mixed with alcohol, but you have to be very careful or it will streak. If you want to paint with colors, mix some powdered color with melted cocoa butter.
