Peanut Free Cake? Aren't All Cakes Peanut Free?

I really appreciate the talk about this. Most people hear allergy and think a rash or sneezing. They don't seem to get that some allergies is a matter of life and death. We have to keep an epipen with us at all times because if my daughter eats anything with peanuts she may stop breathing.
I used this box cake mix for my daughter's friend who is severely allergic - cannot eat anything made in a factory that uses nuts, I looked on the internet and couldn't even find a cocoa or a flour that was guaranteed nut free so this was the answer. I don't use nuts to cook but double dishwashed everything, she is also allergic to egg so this was perfect. They also do nut free frostings. Be careful with food colorings too, I e mailed wilton and their colorings are made in a factory that handles nuts. Satin ice is ok, its made in a nut free facility.
I found it in my local stop and shop - its usually in the organic section.
