Cleats are little stoppers glued to the bottom of your board to raise it off the table surface to make it easier to lift or move. Some people use rubber furniture stoppers but they are not aways easy to find.
Here is a cheap and easy idea I came up with. Pull wooden 2 clothes pegs apart and glue them to the underside of your board....easy! The bigger the board the more pegs you will need to use.
Thank you! This is a great idea...now if I can remember to buy some clothespins, I'll be in business!
Wow what a great idea and inexpensive too, thanks so much. I must try it this weekend.
I clicked on the ? And it opened on my screen.
Has anyone ever used the pizza prongs that come with fast food pizza? I was wondering if they'd work?

They're too flimsy to hold up a cake, BUT, I do use those to separate cardboard trays filled with decorated cookies as they dry.
I've been saving some wine corks. Somewhere I read (and I don't remember where), that you can use the corks, cut them to your specific hight, and glue them to the board. Pretty easy and sturdier. ![]()
