Hello all,

I am new to the forum. I looked through the archives but could not find the answer. Can any of you help me with pricing a whimsical cake. This would be my first one and would like to price it accordingly. It would be two tiers with fondant with a cupcake on the top tier with zebra stripes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. icon_smile.gif

I do my normal wedding prices and then add to it due to the carving work. You may want to do a flat upcharge or do a price per serving up charge.

I have done a few and my minimum is $5 a serving. They are time consuming and you have to bake additional cake to get the tiers the way you need them.

I used to live in Pompano Beach and still have family in Margate, and know the pricing scale there is toward the higher end . I don't know your specific situation as far as expenses but I would start at $5 a serving.
