Hi!

Does anyone have a good...well great recipe for a vanilla butter cake or one that uses vanilla bean?

I believe the latest issue of BonApetit has a good vanilla bean cake/cupcake recipe....my daughter made cupcakes for Easter and it was fantastic!

and this one I LOVE! Just use vanilla bean opposed to the Creme Bouquet (a lemon/citrus/almond extract)

Deb,

Do you have the recipe for that cake from BonApetit? I tried looking on their website, but couldn't find it. I have tried some of their recipes before. Very delish!

Now this is for cupcakes, but I am sure you can put it in cake pans.

I always make the wasc cake but turn it into WBSC (White Butter Sour Cream Cake). Leave out the almond extract and replace it with butter extract!
