Hi everyone
A close friend of mine has a cancer fondation called Sila Lieder
The goal of her fondation is to help raise money for underprivileged patients who have head and neck cancer also known as Sinus Cancer (which her husband is also suffering from)
She had a benefit in November and is planing another one in May.
Its going to be a cake auction, the theme is "Hats Off!"
I'm donating a 3 differant types of cakes.
I wanted to know if anyone was iterested in donating a cake.
The event is going to be held in miami, but I live in miramar so I'm willing to pick up the cake if your in broward county or even west plam beach.
Right now the date is tentatively set for may 9th, (we cant really set a date until we know we will have enough cakes to auction)
I know the economy is bad right now so shes willing to pay for the cost of the ingredients.
It can be any kind of cake flavor or hat design (easter hat, top hat, hard hat, baseball hat, etc etc)

Oh, I wish I could do it! I just moved to SC from Florida a little over a year ago. And although I try to visit a lot, I won't be there that month 
Cancer benefits are very near and dear to me, since I lost a few family members to it, including my father. I actually just did 2 donation cakes last weekend for kid's cancer. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that a lot of people from here will find it in their hearts to donate!

hey everyone, I have some news.
the benifit has been postponed 
the reason is that one fo the local culinary schools is gonna to get involed and they take a summer break in may so the students wont be able to participate
so I'll let everyone know the new date as soon as I know
