Just wondering if anybody knows how to plaid a cake. I saw this one and really liked it.

I would love to know what techniques can be used to achieve this.

It looks hand-painted to me.

It looks like it was painted on to me as well - maybe use some petal dust mixed with vodka or clear extract and paint them on.

It sure looks hand painted or probably to use edible markers.

It looks painted. I have also used an edible image with plaid printed on it.
