i *know* there are tons of great *cake* decorators on here but anyone good at *interior* decorating? i'm trying to figure out what to do with the ceiling in my dining room. i was told to paint the ceiling light green (the wall are medium green) and add crown molding. however, i don't know where the molding is suppose to go as its a tray ceiling *and* i don't know what color to do the molding as the baseboards and trim around the windows are dark oak?? i DO know that i don't want to do dark oak crown molding...anyone have any suggestions?
You would put the moulding up as you would in a room with regular ceilings. I would paint them either white or cream, according to what your other neutrals are in the room.
I am not a "professional" decorator, but I have been told that I have a good "eye" for decorating.
Hope this helps and good luck ![]()
