Rolled Buttercream Question

Can rolled buttercream be made with a regular stand mixer that does not have a paddle attachment. I have a sunbeam mixmaster, waiting for a KA. Are there tips anyone can give me?

Well, you can start making it that way, but as soon as the icing becomes too thick for the machine you would have to take it out and knead in the rest of the sugar by hand. Otherwise you will burn out the motor.
