Here's another pricing question. I made a beautiful castle cake, using the Wilton Castle, made like a candy castle. Using gum drops and little m & m's . Put little micky and Minnie, Donald Duck figures around the cake. And made a small 6" for the boys first cake as well. I know I didn't charge enough, but what would everyone else charge. I only charged 100.00. I live in South Eastern Kentucky. What do you all think? And how do I know how to price my cakes?

a good way to start working out pricing is to figure out the cost to make them - your ingredients, the gas or electricity used etc too. and then figure out what your time is worth. and consider what similar bakeries around you charge.
