So...this is my first time posting in the forum---I just did my first FBCT for my daughter's My Little Pony party--it turned out okay--since it was for a bunch of 5 year olds--but I'm wondering if there are any tricks to getting the image to sit more flush with the rest of the cake?
Also...funny story....I made the round cake for our family party--everyone likes chocolate so I bought DH moist deluxe Devil's food--poured it in the mixer added eggs, oil, etc...Guess what? It's Red Velvet--packaged in the wrong box---kind of summed up my day!!!
TIA for feedback!

Welcome to CC! Your cake looks great. I haven't done a fbct yet so I can't help there but wanted to welcome you to the addiction!

Welcome!!!
I've only done 1 transfer and to get it smooth I tapped it really gently with my fingertip after putting it on the cake - to get the air bubbles out. Actually, I was scared to death to touch it icon_redface.gif

You can also make the fbct the size of the top of the cake. For example, if you are making an 8" round whose image is in the middle, and you want the rest of the cake to be white, draw out the image with icing and them pipe white all around it to the edge of the 8" circle. Then you can just put the whole image on top of the cake and it's all iced and even. Just watch out for the "wormy" effect!
