Not sure i this has been covered...I'm sure it has but anyone care to share thier pound cake variations? What else can I do with it besides Orange, lemon or chocolate/swirl variations?

You can add anything to a pound cake, as long as it is added correctly. For instance, if you want to add nuts, reconstituted dried fruit, or chocolate chips, you should dust them in the same flour you used for the batter before folding in, so they don't sink.
