I was just wondering that which shortening is better. I recently got sugar shacks videos and I love her icing. I have tried sweetex but I've never before tried alpine. I heard that alpine is better during the summer. Can anyone give me their advice. Thanks in advance....

I think Alpine has an awful taste.....pastic or chemical taste.

Well so far I like the way sweetex taste so I think I might just stick to that. Thank you for your response.
