I'm looking for a great white cake recipe from scratch. I'm trying to transition from boxed recipes (I've tried WASC but want something different). I really don't have a lot of time to try lots of recipes and the last one I tried was really crumbly.

I personally LOVE the Vanilla Butter Cake from The Mermaid Bakery.
It's super yummy!
I've tried a few others as well, and like you, they were crumbly.
I always come back to my Vanilla Butter Cake. This one always works great and tastes great.
I got the recipe from CC.

I checked out the recipe and I was wondering what unbleached flour is. Can I substitute with regular flour or not?

I personally always use cake flour but if I don't have it on hand, I revert to regular flour.
