I didn't realize I had bought a bottle of powdered coloring instead of gel.

How do I use it? Do I put it in with the powdered sugar or can I add it to the fondant/bc thats already made up?

If I only had a small portion of fondant that I wanted to color and did not want to do the whole batch could I still use powder?

Thanks for any answers.

When I first started making MMF the people at the cake shop where I go told me that powdered coloring was better for MMF so that's what I bought.

It worked fine, you add it after the MMF is made. I have never tried in in bc. HTH

Thank you. I didn't know if the powdered color would dissolve evenly into the fondant or not.
