I have been asked to do a cake for a young lady turning 19. Her mom is ordering the cake for their "family only" birthday dinner. I asked what she was thinking design wise and her response was "oh, balloons maybe....or flowers.....or I really don't know. Just do what you want to do...but make sure it doesn't look to young, but then not too old either". I asked about favorite colours - she doesn't have one, favorite flower - doesn't have one, activities/hobbies - doesn't do anything. So, I am a little bit stumped. Any suggestions would be great!

I think something really classic - I looked at your pics and the square wedding cakes are nice. Maybe something classic like that, but not too wedding sort of thing.
