Help Putting Fondant On A Square Cake

I'm no expert but the way I was taught was to lay the fondant on the cake then smooth the top then I cup my hands on the corners first then smooth the sides.
Hope that makes sense

i do it this way:
corner, corner, then that middle
corner, corner, then that middle
repeat x 4 sides. really not hard when you do it that way!
