I am doing my first wedding consultation. I saw a thread about this a few days ago, but I have searched and searched to no avail. Wondering what questions I need to ask, I don't want to forget anything. TIA
Also, this is my first wedding cake. I have no pics for them to browse through and choose from. What should I have them look at for ideas?Any good magazines or something.

I gave my current bride some of the Wilton wedding books to look at and that's how she found the cake she wanted. I was in the same place when she and I did our consult.

Basically, you'll need to find out specifics about her wedding in order to judge the size of cake. Ask about how many are expected to attend, her wedding colors (in case she wants them incorporated into the cake), and if she has any preferences on shape. This is a good starting point, but by no means complete. There are others on here with loads more experience that'll be able to suggest other things.

Hope this helps. icon_smile.gif
