Hello ladies!
I'm new to CC and am going to try one of the cake mix recipes that sounds yummy. One question though....
The recipe directions say to follow the package directions.... what do I do with the ingredients listed in the recipe??? Do I use those recipe ingredients instead of the ingredients on the box?
This seems obvious to me but thought I'd ask to be sure!
Thanks in advance!
Jen
Hi... and welcome to CC!! I'm not sure which recipe you are looking at, but I know there is a very, very, very, very good WASC (white almond sour cream) recipe that is popular, which you follow ingredeints listed on recipe her on CC, but follow package instructions for baking, etc. I'm not sure this is the same as the particular recipe you were looking at however.

Decoding CC acronyms:

Some doctored cake mix recipes use the mix as just another ingredient (don't follow package directions).
Other doctored cake mix recipes add to the cake mix recipe (follow package directions). Think extended or enhanced recipes.
If your recipe says to follow package directions - just follow the mixing and baking directions. Use the ingredients specified in the recipe.
