Here's the finished product, thanks everyone for your help. I made a little gumpaste bowl filled with gumpaste flowers. I like it!

Of course, I dropped it off at the show last night, and compared to the others, mine totally looks messy and amateurish. I'm not kidding, there is PHENOMENAL talent on display at that show, if you live close enough, get yourself over there today!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Beautiful finish for this cake. Good luck on your entry. I had trouble with RI tiaras and I made a quick one out of melted candy. That dried quick and made it the same day I put it on my grand daughter's cake. I think you made the perfect topper for this cake.

And last night I saw your cake on CC. Wow you have really come up with a good idea. That's indeed a gorgeous finished product. May I ask you how did you make your blue swags look shiny? did you paint something on it?
