I need to make a marble (white, pink, green) sheet cake for 40 people & want to start with a boxed cake mix (s). Any ideas on the best way to do this? Do I mix the mixes seperatly & then swirl them while in the pan before baking? Also do I have to fill a sheet cake? Thanks in advance.

just make up the mix/es as normal, then split into three. leave one white, and colour the other two.
as for filling it, i think thats up to you!

I tend to almost always fill my slab cakes, as for the marbling...I would mix the colors in the 2 and use the while and fill my pan with alternate mixes and use a skewer or soon to swirl them around...I love marble cakes.
P.S: Make sure your colors are bright-I made one with pastels and it tended to look rather pale...think dark choclate and vanilla and you will know what I mean with intensity! good luck!
