Thinning Wilton Color Paste

Does anyonr know of anthing I can thin my wilton color down without using drinking alcohol?

Glycerine is what I use. It works great just add a little at a time and stir with a toothpick until you get the consistency you want.

Surely your thick paste colors haven't driven you to drink!!!??? icon_lol.gif

Ditto on the glycerine. Sometimes when the paste gets really old, it will get grainy. Those grains will leave specks in your icing. If you're at that point, don't waste the glycerine. Just chuck the color.

Na I am just a preacher and I don't think it would look good, me having Vodka in my cabinet. But if don't stop raining it may drive me to LOL icon_razz.gif
