These letters are very simple to make. I actually made some for a cake that I'm delivering tonight...will post pic later. Roll a length of gumpaste or MMF into a snake-like shape in the thickness you desire. Then shape into the letter you want. Make sure to leave a bit extra at the ends to curl/roll them...sort of how you would make a snail shape. Make sure you give the letters time to dry before trying to stand them up. Hope that helps thumbs_up.gif

that seems simple enough.. i'm just worried about makign them stand up.. they don't fall when transporting the cake??? i'm gonna be using IMBC on this cake..so i don't think the icing will help in keeping them up.

thanks.

Hmmm....that's a tough one. Maybe after you sculpt the letters (before they are dry) you could insert a toothpick so that when you stand the letters on the cake they'll have extra support. If you can, I would also hold off on putting the letters on until you get to your destination....better safe than sorry. Best of luck. I'm sure it will turn out beautifully!

o make them, try attaching them to a sucker stick with royal icing after they dry or attach a piece of fondant on the back of the letters so they will dry together with the stick.
