I am having difficulty obtaining a nice burgandy color for my gumpaste roses. The color looks muted I am using americolor burgandy. Also when I add to much the gumpaste becomes sticky. Has anyone had this trouble? Anyone acheived a nice burgandy color. if so how? Thanks for any answers!! icon_smile.gif

Color with the burgundy color then bump it up with a layer of red dust on top, you will be surprised at how much depth layering color will add to your roses. You can do several different color dusts to give the petals more life.

I'm due for this color myself. I've taken some classes and found
that the wilton colors(I use americolor) tint better than Amcolor.
try using red and violet for burgandy.
