I have recently gotten in to using royal icing. I love making flowers out of it. Is there anything more I can use it for. Do you know of any websites that give you step by step instructions on how to make different things?
I was also wondering when you should use buttercream flowers and when you should use royal icing flowers. Does it matter or is it whatever you prefer?

you can also pipe loops, quick and simple. they're on some of the wilton cupcakes in one of their books.
