How Much Fondant Will I Need???

I am doing a 4 tier cake and was wondering how many lbs of fondant I might need. I will be using Satin Ice, if that makes a difference or not.

12/10/8/6 rounds...

Hi, I don't think what kind of fondant make any different.

12" - 1.75kg
10" - 1.25kg
8" - 900g
6" - 500g

this is from Satin ice's web site

Satin Ice quantity requirements based on a four inch high double layer cake:
Cake Diameter Net Weight
6" 10 oz.
8" 12 oz.
10" 18 oz.
12" 24 oz.
14" 48 oz.
