Cookies Can I......

I have to bake cookies to take to work Friday. Can I bake and ice the same afternoon or do you let your cookies set overnight? I am using Antoina's royal icing so if I bake and put the backround on Wednesday night and then add the other decorations Thursday night will they be dry enough to bag Friday? Thanks for all the help.

Your timeline sounds fine as long as the decorations that you are adding Thursday night are not too heavy with RI. If they are, you may need a little extra drying time if you are bagging the cookies. Good luck!

I will do the backround Wednesday and then just write names on them Thursday so it won't be heavy. I'll probably take them to her boxed and let her bag them just so they will have extra time to dry. Thanks for your reply
