Scrapbooking Die Cut Machine For Fondant????
Decorating By beenzee Updated 27 Jan 2009 , 4:20am by bitofsnshn
I was in aC moore today and saw this new die cut machine called Slice. It takes cartridges that have great alphabets, scrolls, etc. Thing is this machine is portable..and the paper does not have to be run thru it. You put it on top and it uses a blade to cut out the shape.
i couldnt help but wonder if this would work on fondant! if it does, it would be genius!
Any ideas or experience with this particular machine? It looked liek a brand new item.

sounds really interesting...how much is the machine?
I don't know about this machine, but this forum discussed the cricut, is it
similar?

Thanks Kimkait! Looks like Cricut works with frosting sheets! Bet this one would too!
Yes, I guess it is similar to the cricut. I haven scrapbooked in quite a while now..so I have no experience with either machine. Still, I get huge inspiration from all the paper, stickers, embellishments. Wish the Cake decorating industry would explode the way scrapbooking has!
I have been looking at these:

It is a little more expensive, but if I'm reading it correctly, the only limit is your computer, no extra designs to buy.
looks pretty neat. please let us know if you try it what happens.
