Can anyone tell me if I can flavor a cake after it is made. I had a customer order five white cakes. After I baked them she called and said that she wanted two of them to be almond. If I make a simple syrup and add almond flavor and brush it on the cake do you think that will work??? Someone please help me!
Tell her you've already baked the cakes and she needed to have contacted you earlier. I guess the almond infused simple syrup would work too though
Thanks. I so badly wanted to say that but it is an order from a church that sends me a lot of business. I just wanted to see if the syrup idea was logical or if anyone else had a better idea.
