ive never made any thin to go on a cake before but im makin an aniversary cake for my grand parents and would like to put some roses on it anyone got some tips to make them will be using sugarpaste

Hi, I haven't made roses with sugarpaste alone. I add 1/2 teaspoon of CMC/tylose to 250g of sugarpaste. Or you can use gumpaste as well. It dries hard too. Here is a fantastic video from our own member tonedna,
