when u made strawberry cake from a box, do u ever add frozen strawberries? Or what else do u add?

The WASC cake recipe by Rebecca Sutterby can be made using any flavor of cake mix and extract or flavoring.

(For strawberry, you use strawberry cake mix & extract; you can also use strawberry nectar, frozen berries or jello.)
The only variation I didn't care for was the "gelatin" added - it was too sweet...
