Thanks again for your help!

You are very welcome. That's what I use because people are gonna cut 'em that size anyway. And you still have a nice professional chart to show someone too. Although I've never had to show anyone.

If someone wants to serve a larger slice then they buy more servings. Nobody ever does that either.

^^really? you use only the wedding chart? i always quote my party cakes with the party serving guide and wedding cakes with the wedding serving guide. i never would have thought to use it for parties because Im used to getting bigger slices of cake at parties. Everyone knows you only get a sliver at weddings, and I L.O.V.E my cake so I like lots of it.

Hm, I'll have to think about that one

8" and 10" make 48 party servings times $3.50 a serving for all fondant 4" tall cake $168

$2.50 for all buttercream $120 plus extra for the fondant decorations...so...$150ish

I'm surprised that it's three pages into this thread and nobody's mentioned that Abby Cadaby is a licensed character. You can not legally sell the cake with her on top of it.

You can make and sell the cake and have your customer add Abby to it afterwards.
