Hey- anybody know anything about a cake for Obama's inauguration? I'd love to see what was done!

Lilyfield Cakes in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada provided cakes for the inauguration. I'm not sure if this was the only cake at this event though.

I know there was supposed to have been an enormous 3 tiered tri-color cheesecake made from a popular bakery in Chicago (I think for the ball for the soldiers, was it called the Commander-in-Chief?) There were alot, lol, so I may be mistaken.

All I knew is the news said it took 100 lbs of cream cheese to thinking it might have been one of President Obama's favorite local desserts or something since it was from Chicago.

Never did see a pic though - if anyone found a link, it would be much appreciated! icon_smile.gif
