really depends on the flowers. i have 24, 28 and 30. bigger flower = thicker wire.

It depends on what type of flower your duplicating. If your making a hydrangea, you would use thinner wire (26 or 30 gauge) because its a small bloom and you group them in clusters. If your making a tulip, then you want something thicker like a 24 or 20 because they have a thick stem.
