That little girl over <----------there went to every class with me and I took I, II ,III and IV. I think it's a matter of preference. I kept her occupied with an icing gag, I mean bag, with icing in it and a tip on it. She was an angel and nobody complained (to me). I had the same instructor for all 4 classes who had no children of her own.
As a child care provider I don't loathe kids but I do have a problem with parents that don't prepare their kids for public.
