Can I bake sugar cookies today for a party on Saturday? ....I can store them in an air tight container ....it seems like i've heard that you can put a slice of bread in the container to keep them fresh...is that right?? I will need to decorate them probably tomorrow or thursday and then store them again....any advice?

I have baked my NFSC days in advance & froze them until time to decorate. After decorating you'll want to let them air dry before putting in anything to store. You might try looking for more information in the cookie section of this forum. Good luck
