I have been reading in this forum and nothing jumped out at me as what I could use. I am making a butter pecan cake (from a mix) for a surprise for a friend and recently started playing with filling combinations. But I can't think of one that would go. The mix tastes more like butterscotch to me, not very nutty. So I thought maybe chopped nuts, or chopped toffee... I am not sure she can have a lot of nuts, I know she likes them, but is breastfeeding and nut allergies run in her family (her older DS has them bad!!) Maybe just butterscotch filling....
Any help would be great!!
