Vanilla Cake Filling- No Chocolate!!

I need some ideas for filling to go with a vanilla cake. The requestor states that the intended receipients of this cake do not like chocolate on anything. Any good filling and then frostings that you would combine with that?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How about a lemon curd or lemon-flavored buttercream? Or you could do another kind of fruit filling - raspberry, strawberry, etc. Good luck!

Raspberry with orange/vanilla butter cream. I love the raspberry Solo fillings from the grocery store.
