About a month ago, the New York Cake Decorators club went to see the martha stewart show. It was the first day of her cookie show and it was quite fun. At the end of the show Martha took questions AND GIFTS.
It just so happen that I stayed hope the previous weekend and did the rose that I can hope to put below.

Martha said,"The Rose is Exquisite". I put my business card in the bag.
I got a call 2 weeks later from the Assoc. Producer asking for some
sample flowers and a tape of me.
If they like them, I will get to be on the show.
The following is my flowers to send in and I welcome any criticism.

Amazing! Beautiful. Is that with airbrushed with a stencil or painted freehand. That's incredible. Good luck and hope to see you on Martha Stewart.

Thanks everyone. If they like what they see, I guess I'm in.
I drop off tomorrow.
I wouldn't say I'm an expert with sugarflowers, I just happen
to be at the right place at the right time and took a chance.
I think she likes the fact that I'm a homemaker who does
this for a hobby.
I will let you all know what happens for sure.

Congratulations!!!! My good friend did a baking segment with Martha a few years back. If anything happens let me know and maybe Donell can give you some pointers on what to expect. He had a blast!!!
