Had to post something nice about my husband since sometimes they can do goofy things - like forgetting (even after many reminders!) that I was drying fondant in the oven and preheating it.... icon_cry.gif

He looked up on the internet how to make fondant roses and found my fondant tools and made me this:

Happy Birthday! How sweet and thoughtful. You are one lucky gal - my DH can barely cook a frozen pizza and instant oatmeal.

Thanks, he is a really great guy!
He even bought me new fondant mats for Christmas to replace the ones he melted in the oven in December--he doesn't even cook that much!

I guess I should find a new place to dry my fondant pieces........

awww that is sooo sweet!!!!! You obviously have a wonderful husband thumbs_up.gif the rose looks amazing, and here I am still scared to attempt one (but will have to soon) lol.

Thanks everyone, I passed on your kind words to him. Cheesecake is one of the many things I miss about no longer living in New York so he makes me one every year!
