Hi there,
I have made this cake and the client is going to pick it up and transport it to the venu.

How should she transport the cake to the reception i.e. do you remove the flowers and if so, how would you package/transport the flowers?

The arrangement of wired sugarpaste flowers are taped together and can be removed from the cake as there is only one of the flower stem sitting inside a flower pick which is inserted into the cake. (see attactment)

Any advice will be appreciated.

Kind Regards

I would definitely remove the flowers just to be on the safe side.......personally I would probably stick them in a shoe box with lots of fluffy paper towels under them and kinda mold the paper towels to cradle the flower spray. As for the cake, it should be fine depending on what kind of support system you've got going in there. what do you have?? Is it just dowels, wooden dowels/ plastic dowels, sps?? what?
