Puff Pastry Question

Can puff pastry dough be fried or does it have to be baked. I want to make some ham and cheese sandwhich appetizers for tonight and I'd like to fry them cause at the moment my oven is full of pork roast and rolls.

I figured since you all seem to know alot about cooking that someone would know.

I've never fried them so why not take a piece and try it.

I guess it's a tad late, but yes it fries very well. There are Churros, Biengets, Crullers, A whole host of other traditional puffs that are fried.
