I'm wondering if many of you out there carry invitations / wedding stationery?
I've seen the usual catalog stuff at at least one cake place locally, and I know another carries some higher end lines.
I used to do stationery design before taking up cakes, am sort of thinking of adding a section to my site for it.
If you carry invites, how does it work for you? Good interest?
I'd like to hear about your experience with this as well!
I have a couple of the catalog books, but I find a lot of brides are ordering on-line or buying the do-it-yourself kits. I dont' do a lot of biz from them.
But I'm also not really a walk-in type of biz and I just don't put in the effort to push these very hard. I'm sure those that have good walk-in biz have more opportunity and incentive to promote it harder than I do.
