I need a non-dairy creamy filling. Is there a soy cream or something that will whip up? Is there such a thing as soy pudding, and is it good? Help! My MIL can't eat the milk stuff. I want a chai cake, so if I can't fill it with a whipped filling, what do you suggest??

Sorry I can't help you. The only chai cakes that I have ever seen do not have fillings. They only have frosting drizzled on top. I did read a recipe that combined frosting and chai so I suppose you could put that in as a filling. Good luck.

Just make a buttercream with crisco instead of butter.. and for the milk part use soy milk. I always use soy in my buttercream. I love the way it turns out.
